Thankful for the Support

We had a wonderful weekend (aside from the sweltering heat) with my in-laws. Saturday began with Jason and I going to a childbirth class (much of which he made fun of, mostly due to the hippie meditation technique), then ended with a Star Wars themed baby shower where we received a whole bunch of wonderful gifts from friends and family. I am pretty sure I won't have to buy our baby any clothes for at least the first year of her life now.

Sunday was divided between watching Jason and his dad fix my car and then later watching them put together the new crib his parents bought us. It all took several hours and everyone was sweaty and hot afterward, but it ended in success and we all went to Tizley's to celebrate and eat Reubens afterward. Mom-in-law took some great photos of Jason and I at the waterfront in Poulsbo, and the baby got poked to death by Jason and his dad.
Monday Dad put the changing table together and we reorganized the room so that it is pretty well set up now. I just need Nana's rocking chair, which my sister should be shipping to me in the next couple of weeks.

I continue to be kicked in the side more often now, and I worry that the baby has moved from the face down position she was supposed to be in into a sideways position. I guess I'll find out in a few weeks when I get another ultrasound.
